Whether you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains or take advantage of the abundance of activities found at the Beech Mountain Club –the Recreation Department is here to enhance your experience.
At the heart of the Beech Mountain Club’s recreation campus is an interactive family pool surrounded by a fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts, pavilion, playground, Kid’s Fun Zone game room and summer day camp.  The Club’s comprehensive recreation program offers group excursions, art classes, organized card games, social events, lunch and learn presentations and the opportunity to join a wide variety of interest clubs and groups. We offer year-round activities and programs for our member families including a warm and cozy private ski lodge adjacent to Beech Mountain Resort’s ski slopes.
We encourage member participation. If you have a talent or hobby you would like to share or if you are interested in starting a group or have a suggestion for a trip or activity, just let us know.  Please call us or stop by to find out what’s happening or check out our online activity flyers with complete descriptions of all of the exciting opportunities waiting for you and your family.  We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Providing creative outlets and supporting our local art community is very important at the Club.  Members enjoy oil painting, watercolor, stained glass, pottery, crochet, knitting and basket-making classes. The Club also provides opportunities for members to showcase their work at the Clubhouse and members are invited to join the Beech Mountain Art Guild.  The Art Guild hosts an annual Art Show and Sale and hosts studio workshops which cover different art topics.  For those who enjoy art appreciation, a continuing Lunch and Learn Series on the Masters is offered during the summer as well as trips to local galleries and museums.  Novice to expert, there is a perfect way to express your art interests at the Club.
