The Club’s comprehensive social program offers group excursions, art classes, organized card games, social events, lunch and learn presentations and the opportunity to join a wide variety of special interest clubs and groups. We offer year-round activities and programs for our member families.
Member participation is encouraged so if you have a talent or hobby you would like to share, are interested in starting a group or have a suggestion for a trip or activity, just let us know. RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

Reservations are taken as soon as the event is advertised, with some exceptions. Many trips and outings have a minimum and maximum number of participants so early registration is advised! If you cancel a reservation, we must have 48 hours’ notice (excluding weekends) in order to issue a refund, unless otherwise specified. Please note that some trips require advance payment upon reservation. These trips will be specified and notice of the cancellation policy will be given when reservations are made.
ART COMMUNITY
We have many different art classes available including oil painting, watercolors, crafts, and basket making. We are always looking for more.
CARD & GAME GROUPS
If bridge is your game, you’ll find we have everything from classes to help you learn the basics to opportunities for advanced play. Day or evening, social or serious, men’s/women’s or coed, there is a game for you to join. Groups to learn and play Mahjong, Hand & Foot, Canasta, Samba, and Euchre are also available.
CLUB EXCURSIONS
Located in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, the Club takes full advantage of our surroundings with excursions to local attractions and areas of interest. The Club's 14 seat van takes members to unique destinations and special events all over the high country. Leave all the planning to us and join Club staff on these exciting tours and trips. The van, with driver, are also available for private rental for outings and wedding transportation.
Beech Mountain Club is an active community with members participating in "clubs within the Club" covering a variety of interests and activities. In addition to our Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball Associations, other Beech Mountain Club clubs/groups currently include, but are not limited to:

RENTALS
Beech Mountain Club offers some of its facilities to Members for private rental. The Recreation Activity Room and the Elm Room are all available for nominal fees. These facilities are great to host weddings, parties, reunions and special events. We also have a 14-passenger van which is available to rent. Click on the forms below for more information and fees. SPECIAL EVENTS
The Social Activities Department offers various special events throughout the year. The season starts with Mimosa Morning, held on the Friday after Memorial Day, which showcases of all of the Club's activities, classes and events for the entire season. Instructors and staff from each area are available to describe their offerings and sign up members for activities. Social Activities plans several special holiday events including our Fourth of July Family Pool Party, several holiday gatherings throughout the year, and Breakfast with the Grinch in December, just to name a few.
